The National Academies’ Gulf Research Program (GRP) today announced the addition of six colleges and universities to the Gulf Scholars Program (GSP), a five-year, $12.7 million pilot program that prepares undergraduate students to address the most pressing environmental, health, energy, and infrastructure challenges in the Gulf of Mexico region.

The University of 91°µÍøºÚÁÏ Gulf Scholars Program (GSP) recently announced its first curriculum cohort has completed a series of development workshops, with six faculty from across 91°µÍøºÚÁÏ Coastal Operations creating place-based experiential learning units that aim to inspire and prepare undergraduate students to create a more equitable, just, and resilient Gulf of Mexico region.
