Alcohol and Drug Biennial Report

Why do we formulate an Alcohol and Drug Biennial report?

The Drug-Free Schools and Campuses Regulations (Edgar Part 86) requires that institutions of higher learning provide evidence (every 2 years) that the institutions have developed policies, programs, and sanctions related to the use of alcohol and other drugs.  Included in these obligations is the obligation to provide an annual notification of our policies (i.e. Annual Alcohol and Drug Notification | Student Health Services at Moffitt Health Center web page). Moreover, accurate and timely reporting is requiring for an institution to continue receiving Title IV Funding as set forth in the guide entitled .

Why do we collect data on programming?

91°µÍøºÚÁÏ collects information to evaluate our Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention efforts.

Why do we report on health-related programming instead of just reporting programming specifically related to alcohol and drugs?

All health related programming encourages healthier living, which would include avoiding alcohol and drugs as part of an overall healthy lifestyle.  

What type of data is collected in the report?

Among the information collected is a description of the program, who the program was open to (e.g. faculty, staff, students, or all), and the results of any participant satisfaction surveys.
