Title IX Deputy Coordinator
Bio
As Deputy Title IX Coordinator, Kira-Marie Wimbert brings a passionate, proactive approach to fostering equity, safety, and inclusion across campus. Originally from Germany, she came to the United States as an international student and Division I student-athlete, experiences that have shaped her resilience, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
Kira-Marie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Rhetorical Studies from Syracuse University, as well as a Master’s degree in Sport Management, a Sport Security Certificate, and an MBA from the University of 91°µÍøºÚÁÏ. Her diverse educational background informs her comprehensive and strategic approach to Title IX compliance.
Prior to her current role, she spent two and a half years as a Marketing Graduate Assistant in the Title IX office, where she played a key role in educational programming, policy communication, and outreach initiatives. Today, she continues to build on that foundation by supporting investigations, facilitating training, and promoting a campus culture grounded in respect and accountability.
