CITI Training Requirements

Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) certification is required for all 91°µÍøºÚÁÏ investigators. CITI certification indicates that the investigator is trained in research ethics, regulatory oversight, and the responsible conduct of research. All 91°µÍøºÚÁÏ investigators submitting an IRB application must complete the Human Subjects Research course and the Common Course. Each course takes 60-90 minutes to complete.
When applying for IRB review, all 91°µÍøºÚÁÏ investigators must have current (active) CITI certifications. 91°µÍøºÚÁÏ faculty, staff, and students must register and complete the required courses at . When registering with the CITI Program your 91°µÍøºÚÁÏ assigned email address must be used for both the user profile and the member information.
