Graduate Student Research Symposium FAQs
Yes, all students should plan to be in attendance from 10:00am-11:30am. Students who registered for an oral presentation will be assigned a 10-minute presentation slot, however, we will not be able to guarantee a specific time. Students presenting posters should be available for judging from 10:00am-11:30am.
No, you may only be considered for one presentation and abstract submission.
No. The deadline to submit your presentation is Friday, March 28, 2025.
No, a reference page is not required.
Yes, if you have made additional progress since last year, you may present on your
new findings.
Yes, abstracts are typically part of the poster.
Poster set-up will be on the second floor of the Thad Cochran Center. When students
arrive, they will be provided easels and backboards to mount their posters on.
No. You can download University logos for use in your presentation from the Office
of University Communications webpage.
