Bio
Dr. Chao Meng joined the University of 91°µÍøºÚÁÏ in 2019 as an Assistant Professor in School of Marketing. He received his doctorate in Systems and Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona in 2015. His master’s and bachelor’s degrees are in Logistics Engineering. Dr. Meng’s research interests include logistics system design and analysis, production system simulation modeling, and supply chain coordination. He has published 12 peer-reviewed journal papers and book chapters. In addition, Dr. Meng has completed multiple research projects in various industries including coal mining, agriculture, manufacturing, and transportation.
Dr. Chao Meng has served as session chair in Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences Annual Meeting, Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers Annual Conference, and Winter Simulation Conference. He has also served as the Publicity Chair of Winter Simulation Conference 2019 and 2021.
